Does anybody recommend a certain steam vacuum for cleaning the interior?

I don't use a steam vacuum but I do use my rainbow vacuum with the aquamate 3 it works excellent but I bet any steam vac would work

I've read plenty of reviews from detailers that like Bissell's small steam vacs.

I have this one and LOVEEEE it!!! I have used it several times on the black interior of my focus and it always looks brand new!

Do any of you that use steam cleaners have leather seats? The steam cleaners can be used on them, right?

Yes, you can use steam. As with anything, common sense takes precedence here. You wouldn't want to hold the steam head on ONE leather spot for a long time trying to get a stubborn stain out! Most people will wrap the head of the steamer with a microfiber and then gently work over the seat, following up with another microfiber to catch the water/dirt that the steam leaves behind.

Same thing applies to your plastic dash/door panels, don't hold the steam in one spot for very long.
