This requires 0 modification to fit into our airbox w/o adapters to fit...hopefully i i will have mine next month...just wanted to give you guys a heads up

I like this. But my question is wouldn't performance be worst than a standard k&n since the car would breath hot engine air? I would love the sound tho.

It uses the stock airbox.

It would still draw air from the engine bay, since its open cone design.

Lol the right side of the box is actually the top of the filter, hence the filter would be exposed.

Yes the filter is exposed on the right side of the air box. But it's not really going to be worse than a k&n, considering their intake system is a short ram and also breathes in hot air, and their drop in is only slightly less restrictive than stock.
