After reading this forum for a couple weeks I bought my new 2013 SE hatch 5-speed a couple of weeks ago.

I came here so I could get some real info from real people instead of just sales pitches from dealers and other websites.

This place is great and I just wanted to say hello and thank you for all the great threads that answered some of my pre-purchase questions and concerns.

I would love to post a pic but I'll be damned if I can figure out where the attachment button is.

Not to be cynical, but you read this forum and it made you WANT to buy a Focus? lol...

A lot of us love our cars despite the issues. ;)

Haha. Yes, I love the Ford brand and I don't have MFT or an automatic transmission. So far I love the car. will be turning over 1000 miles tomorrow.

The photo attachment button is the yellow picture of mountains and the sun at the menu bar above the message area. You can't post from your hard drive, you have to post a link to your pix on photo site like PhotoBucket. Upload to PhotoBucket, copy the link to the photo, open a new post, write your message, click on the icon, paste your link and submit. Piece of cake.

5 speed non MFT is the best combo! :)

And most of us have zero issues. You wouldn't know it though because there aren't 20 "I have zero issues" threads popping up everyday.

Good choice on the 5spd!

I've had my car for 15 months, put 36k miles on it, and I LOVE this car! It's mostly the people with problems are usually the loud ones about it too (for good reason)

And for the record, I do have a 5-speed, but I also have MFT and have never had a problem.

If it was just me driving the vehicle I would definitely get a 5-M.
