Best HID Kit

Ok I have a set of euro spec Hella projector headlights. They are built to run hids as well as halogen. I went the halogen route but I was very unhappy with light output and look. They currently have ebay crap hids now with one blown ballast for the second time now. I'm looking at the D2S Morimoto elite kit from theretrofitsource.com. Any thoughts about them or something better? Thanks

get the morimoto one at TRS. they won't hesitate to help in any way possible. their products are hand checked on their way into the warehouse and again before they ship. great people to work with. the cost is higher but you wont ever regret it

Just as a heads up, im pretty sure that the headlights you have are not built for HIDs.

There are currently only 2 headlamps built for the focus that are HID-spec. The stock Mach headlights, available on the Mach focus, or the SVT, or the aftermarket Hella Bixenons which are relatively new on the market:

My assumption is that you have these, which are not built for HIDs.

Just letting you know, HIDs in non-spec housings are illegal in all states, and can be very dangerous for oncoming drivers.

^^^This , take it from a former [:)][:)][:)][:)][:)][:)][:)] ( myself ) who did it anyways , it sucks balls for seeing at night , and blinds everyone . If you dont have hid projectors , just get some good halogen bulbs
