Cell Phone Holder recommendations?
So going from my 2004 Echo into a Ford Focus 2013 I'm trying to get settled in. I use my IPhone 5 for navigation, music, and overall stuff. On my echo I had a adjustable holder that would suction cup to the window. I found that to be the best for that car. When I moved it to the Focus I found that since the windshield is at a different angle, I have to put it a little further in which makes it hard to reach and also blocks a chunk of the windshield.
So I'd like to get recommendations what you guys use. I'm thinking mounting it to the vent right of the steering wheel would probably be best option. I need something that is adjustable so I don't have to replace it every two years when I update my phone. My wife bough a cheap vent one for her car and the issue I have with it is that is swivels on its own when the car is driving, making it hard to look at and use. So I need something that will stay put. |
A lot of guys have purchased the pro clip mount which will most likely work best for you
http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/showthread.php?t=262345 I have the Kuda Base mount that looks much better because its molded to fit the car. But it mounts lower on the center console and might not work for you. Both options in the link above |
Thanks. Appreciate the suggestion.

I purchased the Pro Clip one as well and it hangs off the passenger vent, perfect angle for a quick view and easily accessible. I have a manual and it does not interfere with gear shifts. I hate the price of the pro clip, but I love the holder and the location.

Will order it and check it out. Appreciate the advice.

Man, i feel different.... I got a RAM mirrormate and xgrip holder... All tolled, about $60CAD, give or take alittle. LOVE where it mounts tho, as it now mounts my cell right under the mirror and angled towards the driver. Ill see about getting some pics while at work tomorrow...
