The main sales manager pointed out the problem

Please help with any advice or a lead to getting this part at a very inexpensive price. Money is very right right now bcuz I jus moved out of my parents house!

9 times out of 10...disconnecting your battery, removing your gas cap, tightening it back up and connecting yout battery will fix that code]

Well, might need a new gas cap if that's the culprit. Else, this is an emissions only and not a blow up your car kind of error. Let it ride until the rainy season is over.

Well, the Ford book and some other resources, someone might post it but there is a flowchart, it gives you step by step procedures to track down the exact cause of the error. I don't recall how nice the Ford dealers around there are, but you could ask the service department for a printout of the steps to follow. I bought the books for my Focus, I think the steps are in there but they're not handy at the moment.
