svt pump in 00-01 focus?
 

my fuel pump is taking a dump and i dont believe the update to the pump/tank was done since i have all the symptoms , long hot crank, surging , misfires etc. will a stock svt pump fit one i have the update done to my tank , i read somewhere that it did but the power and ground had to be switched, im just trying to confirm this

no, the canister is different. thats it and the pump holds more lph. jim told me somehow u can put the svt pump itself into the stock canister.....idk how. i need to figure out because my turbo needs more fuel

yea i think im goinf to order the svt assembly from tousley ford its only ~200, and ill just swap the pump and sock/filter over to my canister, just want to make sure the plug/wiring is the same because i read somewhere that the power and ground have to be switched on an svt pump in a zx3, and i want to confirm this
