Two antennas
 

In my 2013 SE are two antennas: A black one pointing upwards from the rear of the roof, and another one embedded into the upper portion of my windshield. What are these two antennas each for?

I'm pretty sure the one near your mirror is for your remote start. The other...your radio.

I have no remote start. Is the antenna just there anyway?

Is it possibly not an antenna? Did ford just build a pattern into the glass?

that's just a dot matrix...every car has it to some extent. PITA for tint...

Really? What is its purpose? Just decorative?

I believe they're mostly for looks. Helps hide seems and such.

Where do the sun visors not reach ...

Other MFG.'s go about this different ways. VW uses a little flip down piece of plastic,,, which I think I've also seen Toyota use.

I need a nbetter picture but that looks like the heated windshield option glass.

Just look above your RV mirror.
It's the black checker pattern he's talking about.
