mtx too getrag
 

i have a 2000 zx3 zetec what would i need too put in a svt trans or is it possible???

but dont. not worth it. 6th isnt an overdrive like 5th in the mtx. 6th is slightly shorter gearing than 5th.

nope, 6th will rev just as high as 5th on the MTX-75 on the highway, if not higher. Kind of annoying

its actually like 200-500 rpm higher at 75mph in 6th than 5th.

plus, the getrag isn't repairable like the mtx (sycros, gears, etc). Technically it is, but a replacement trans is cheaper lol

That Getrag 6-spd is designed for the svt= no low grunt, but top end power as you need the 6 speed. Put the cash into the motor.
