Central locking only works using key
 

hello.

we have a ford focus 2001 1.6

if i press the buttons on my key to lock the car it all locks and unlocks fine but if i put my key into either the driver or front passenger door and turn it, only the front 2 doors lock and the rear to stay unlocked.

why is this ? how can i fix it?
