08 trailing arm on 04
 

i had a run in with a curb and low and behold need a new trailing arm. i was surfing on ebay and found one for a 2008, my question is can this be instaled on my 2004 zx3 with no problem. or did ford change somthings over the years. any input would be of great help. used 08 trailing arm 66$ used 04 125$ new 04 197$. thanks in advance for the help and i will rep the best answer.

I really want to say 'yes it'll work with no issues'. But I'm just not sure. I know the shocks interchange, so that mount should be the same. The brakes interchange, no issue there. So it's just the lower control arm that might be different, but I just don't see why it would be.

I say buy the cheap one. Odds are pretty good it's the same thing.

Or - Go to your local Ford dealer, offer the parts guy a beer, and ask him to look up the OEM Ford part numbers for the 08 and 04 arms to see if the part numbers are the same.

they are the same part number

i cannot verify the lca's part numbers soo i just bought the 04 one.
