Radio Draining Battery
 
I have an '04 Freestar* that has a problem with the radio draining the battery. The radio does wierd things, like turn itself on when the ignition is off. My fix for the issue was to remove the radio fuse. Do you guys think this might be a radio problem or a wiring harness problem?


*I know it's not a Focus, but I was hoping that it seems like a generic enough problem that someone might have some experience with this.

It could be either one.

Do you have access a spare deck?

Do you have a test light or, a DMM(digital multi-meter)?

I don't have a spare unless I use the one from my focus, nor do I have a DMM.

Do you have a Harbor Freight around?
