Fuel economy?
 

I recently bought a 2007 Focus SES with AT. 45K miles. It is a PZEV. Nice car. Breeze to drive in city with AT. But the fuel economy has me a little puzzled. It is supposed to get at least 25 around town; better on freeway. But mine doesn't seem to do that well...20 at most around town. Most of my driving is in the city. I drive it very easy. It seems to run fine although I do notice a rough and erratic idle when cold which I understand is common. I have not replaced the motor mounts yet. The vibration is sort of annoying but I can live with it for now. The biggest thing is the fuel economy now that gas in California is higher that a kite. Any ideas would be appreciated! Tune up, check you air filter, replace the fuel filter
