Warm/Cool HVAC door seized
 

Hi all. The warm/cool blend switch sticks on my 05 Focus if left in the full cool position for a long time, say a whole summer.
I broke the control cable that routes to the actuator, and during the process of replacing it, I tried to free the stuck door using my hand on the shaft and broke part of the shaft off.
Is there any way to free the door without using the normal controls? Possibly by getting access to the door without pulling the heater core? Or if someone has an exploded diagram of the ducts, that would be great too.
