Brake Pads

I have an 01 Se Sedan and am looking for the best brake pads that do not leave brake dust all over my nice rims.

I am tired of having to clean the brake dust off my rims.

I have Disc brakes all the way around. Rear disc conversion was done.

What pads should I get that eliminate brake dust as much as possible while still having good braking capabilities.

Thanks,
Joe

Ceramic pads are similar to a all season tire

No dust & good stopping= sounds similiar to a all season tire. Hit up a Ceramic pad then.

The EBC greenstuff is pretty dusty= grab the Reds instead.

Good pads leave dust. If you want to minimize dust, buy a good ceramic.

The sad fact is that just about any ceramic pad will have less braking performance than a non-ceramic performance pad. For a daily driver the difference probably won't be much.

I assume the OP added rear discs for performance purposes (or was it for "looks"). If for performance reasons it would be wise to stick with a non-ceramic pad and bite the bullet on the dusting. There are some performance pads that dust a little less than others. The mentioned Hawk HPS do dust but not terribly so. Mintex AF's don't dust too bad either. One thing you can do is to clean your wheels really well and then add a good coating wax and/or sealer. The wheels will be noticeably easier to keep clean.
