Legal cat back exhaust?
 
Can you guys list some cat back exhaust that sound good? But that will pass cali smog? I was looking at obx cat back but the seller said it wasnt street legal. Does anyone have it in cali?

The whole point of cat backs is that they are all legal for street use no matter were you live as long as they have some form of muffler and don't violate any noise restriction.

Kinda what I was thinking and this guy is also from California. From the magnaflow site referencing their cat-back street sytems.

well i have the fswerks street , it would be perfect for you , and ill tell you it sounds great , i now have a gutted 2nd cat and its a little louder but it sounded great even before that

SAE J1169 is the noise standard set at no louder than 95db. CA law is also set at 95db

I really feel for CA gear heads. I know why these laws exist, but it must be a pain to modify a car out there.
