gauge lights
 

looking at replacing my ugly green dash lights, well yellow lights and green film, with some blue led bulbs. i know i gotta cut out the numbers and such, but what bulb sizes, and how many, will it take to do the job? ive read tutorials but none say how many of what bulb i need, andy help would be appreciated, thanks guys!

194 wedge base. Make sure you get wide angle otherwise you'll have dim/bright spots. I think there's 4 in that cluster. Might be 3. I've been looking at doing the same.

you dont have to cut out the numbers, you should sand the film away. the cluster uses 3 bulbs. I did this and it looks great.

Sand the entire back or just over the numbers? How long did it take you

Is it 194 or 198 bulb, I've read both now. Irdered 194 red for gas and temp then blue for spedo, hope that's right

thanks, can't wait to ditch the ugly green and finally have a dash that matches my interior lights :P

Finished it, wow thats a bitch to sand. No tach had only 2 lights too, so I had to go red, but will probably get another blue sometime since id like it more.
