Turn Signal Lights Stay On

I have an 01 Sedan Zetec MTX.... I changed my tail light and front light bulbs (between headlights), all the running lights, brake lights, and blinkers are working.... But when I noticed that the blinkers are blinking really fast, but front and rear are both working..... And when I turn on the parking lights or headlights, that the blinker lights on gauge cluster come on and stay on constent.....

Y are the blinkers blinking fast?
Y are the blinker lights on Gauge Cluster staying on constent?

I included a pic of the constent lights on, took it last night on my way home..... 1st pic is with flash on, 2nd pic is with flash off.... Took pic both ways, to make sure was able to see what I ment.... I was just cruising, no flashers, blinkers, foot not on brake, just headlights on and driving.....

Fast blinking usually means one of the lights in the system is out. You will have three lights on each side to check; front, rear and side markers. I know you said the front and rear are working but what about the side markers, they should be blinking the same as the front/rear?

I'd check each light individually (just remove and reinstall) and then try the turn signal.
If its not a light that is out then its a short or bad ground in the system. Id guess its probably not a fuse but its something you can check as well.

If so, you'll need resistors. Each bulb will need a resistor. The low wattage is signaling a bulb is out.
Here is one type.

is this the right one? http://www.superbrightleds.com/morei...r-kit/190/831/

Yes, RL-650 is the one. Get 4. Advance and autozone have the ceramic ones. I think they cost $11.00 for two. They stink though. The wiring is very brittle and break off easily.

I dont mind spending a few extra bucks on some that dont smell and wont burn out quickly, and has better wiring that wont melt or get brittle and break..... some things are worth the extra money....

LOL, I meant they stink as in they are a piece of junk. Not that they smell.

Go with the superbrightleds. That's the least expensive. Just make sure they are 6 ohm 50 watt. The RL-650. The bottom link are the ones to stay away from. When the wire breaks, it breaks right at the creamic part. You'll have nothing left to use.
