Sadly, the Focus is no more. It's been fun being a part of this forum, good group of fanatics... almost made it to 1000 posts! [cheers] [grinking]

What happened?

Got hit from the side something fierce... Car is done like dinner. Overcooked dinner, that would be.

Pics? May be totaled but I bet it took the hit like a champ, right? All accidents with Mk3 Foci I've seen so far have held up admirably.

Glad you're okay enough to post up on the Forums.

What are your thoughts on your next ride?

Dang man... Sorry to hear that. It seems like we had gone quite a while there without hearing about an accident... These posts always make me sad [:(]

Thanks guys. I don't have any photos... haven't gone to see the car. I've been told it's been pushed in very far on the passenger side, to the point where the car is somewhat C shaped from above, and the front is messed up from the post it was forced into. So, it's a write-off for sure. Looks like there won't be any issues with insurance, either.

Ouch man. Again, glad you're alright!

Looks like I will be... the Focus did a great job trying to keep me safe given the severity of the two impacts. Fortunately, I didn't have anyone else in the car at the time. Passenger of the other vehicle is in "serious but stable" condition, driver is okay.

Any outstanding injuries?
