My Focus is about a month old now and I'm 1500 miles in. Just a few mods so far. 15% tint, Plasti-dip on the wheel and Blue Caliper Paint...more to come.

how hard is it to plasti dip the rims?

It is super easy. I just did two coats and it is passable. I want to get two more coats on. Plan on 4 cans for all four wheels.

Is it durable?

I wanted to do the same...but is the paint sticking and not chipping

I plastidipped mine then painted over the plastidip with some gloss black paint. I have had it on the rims for three months and no chips so far.
