Header Questions
So a week ago I ordered an obx header because it was cheaper than nuying a new stock header and obviously Ill need a tune because the first cat was removed along with the pzev ports. Do I need a professional tine or can I flash tune with a flasher like the xcal?
|
Someone will need to write you a tune to put onto the xcal so you can flash it. There are no tunes on the xcal when you get it.
Tom can remote tune it or you could make the trip to McNews in PA. Or talk to Randy/Vic at FSwerks; they may do remote tuning as well. Your going to need a Wideband AFR gauge to do remote tuning. |

Its always good to buy products from the forum vendors but if your trying to save a buck,
Here is the AEM on eBay for $163 and the seller is trustworthy as I purchased mine from him http://www.ebay.com/itm/AEM-UEGO-Wid...item4abbe9f1ad or he is also selling a Innovate Motorsports MTX-L wideband for $189 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Innovate-Mot...4&cmd=ViewItem |
Ah okay that makes sense now. Another thing. Can I remove the extra piping For the pzev?
