Stock suspension
 

Would i have a problem autocrossing a ZX5 with auto trans and stock suspension. It looks like so much fun id like to try it.

Autocrossing is fun regardless of what you drive. But many cars are a lot more fun than others.

if u learn to left foot brake like i do the auto trans and the stock suspension does fine i beat PLAENTY of cars two days ago in my wagon go first in novice and 20 out of 84 in pax .. go learn and have fun ... autocross is 70% driving skill 20% tires 10% car

no.. don't try left foot braking yet.. you'll spin for sure.
But yes, go out and dodge some cones.. you will have a blast regardless!

I have seen an old mid 70's Datsun 210 Wagon at several autocrosses. The guy was having a hoot.

Just do it

I use to race a minvan on the back roads of my house left foot brakin.

Anything at an autocross is a hoot. Just show up with any well maintained car and you'll have fun. It really is about the driver, not the car.

I think every driving enthusiast should at least try it. My wife even had a great time, though she probably won't autocross ever again. Especially younger drivers to learn capabilities and respect for the car, and find an outlet for agressive driving (speaking from experience here, he, he, he).

Stock suspension and stock car, good for stock running. You would be in H-Stock.

You will do well there once you get use to dodging the cones.
