For Sale: Duratec VF Driver Mount

For sale is a used VF driver mount for duratec MTX. It does not need new bushings but if I were buying this part, I would put new ones on there, simply because I am anal! Part is located in central NJ and I am asking $70 shipped OBO.

Absolutely. I have a stock passenger mount on the way to my house right now. As soon as I get the VF mount out (probably by this thursday) I can ship them. PM me with the details on what you are thinking.

Just curious as to why you are going back to stock?

I am planning on selling the car soon. I figured if I made the car less aggressive, I would have a wider customer base, lol. Most people don't like their cars like I like mine!

I am also going to SVT suspension from eibach sportlines.

But, I am still keeping the dogbone mount and the short throw shifter so it will still be a fun car to drive every day.

how was the ride with the 2 mounts?

I had all three mounts. The ride was great because most of the engine movement was dampened. It really made for some fun driving and aggressive shifting. With the stiff suspension, the intake/exhaust/cams/Torsen diff/tune, it was pretty sweet. It might be too much for some people though.

As far as grocery getting goes, it wasn't bad. I got used to it really quckly. I did have a few people ask me "what's wrong with your car"? Haha. I wouldn't recommend all three mounts if you are driving miss daisy. Two would probably be the limit for that. I started with the dogbone, bought the passenger about two months later, then finally the driver a few months after that. My personal favorite was three, but that's just me.

Damn, I'm looking for an SVT suspension (just shocks and struts), all three mounts, and a short throw shifter. Haha, you should make it apeal to a really wide customer base by striping it all and selling it to me [thumb]

The SVT suspension is brand new. 0 miles. I don't want to derail the thread but yu can buy the car if you like.

That being said, I should have the other mount out tomorrow. I am going to post it in another thread. I also have stress bars for sale in the brakes/suspension section in case you'd be interested in those too.
