Well its a plain jane 2000 focus sedan. Only bad part she got the dumb spi motor.

regardless of the engine, that looks incredibly clean for its age!

SPI's aren't necessarily a bad engine, they just have a shorter lifespan than the other engines sold in the Foci. Regardless, good looking car.

Good news is, it will run til the valve seat drops, then you can just swap a zetec in it! [thumb] Nice ride!

or you can get a remanned head now and swap it out... the SPI gets better mileage and has a better torque curve.

Probably needs a nice tune up and some good plugs and wires. Mine was peppy, it could spin the 18"s from a stop. It's a damn reliable motor until it goes. I would swap out the head and call it a day. I'm in the process of a zetec swap it takes patients, i'll tell you that. An I agree with above, shes very clean for it's age reminds me of mine when I brought it home.
