PVC hose collapsing

I have a 2.0 z tech with long Racing header. 2.5" exhaust running all the way back to a flowmaster. also all my cats have been deleted. although I do have a cherry bomb looking resonator in the middle. my question is what would be causing my Pvc hose running from the intake to underneath the header to collapse? I am also running the snorkel intake. any information, tricks, tips would be very much appreciated.

The elbow under the intake manifold just gets old and fatigued. I just replaced mine 2 days ago. I got the new insulated piece from my local dealer.
