Debadgeing
 

What all do i need to debadge my focus. Also what steps are involved so i dont ruin paint.

Get a heat gun and warm the badge up for 1-2 minutes and use floss or fishing line underneath it to remove. Goo-B-Gone the remaining gunk off.

It's really that easy.

you can use a hair dryer if that is more likely to be available:) don't forget to wax the area that u use the goo-be-gone on! it will probably take you longer to wax than to remove it all. i de-badged my trunk and waxed it in about 20-30 minutes, but it was the middle of january! the finished product is so awesome:)

was just gunna ask about hair dryer. u know girls always have a couple of those so the wife has an extra.

The blow dryer will require more time to heat the adhesive as it doesn't get as hot as the heat gun.

I would like to ask a question out of general curiosity. What's the big deal with "debadging"?

It's all personal preference. But, I believe, the consensus among those that do it/have done it, is that it cleans the car's backend up. Just a clean look.
