SVT flex pipe to FRPP borla zetec flange question
 

I need to replace the exhaust on my svt focus. I have located a frpp 2.5 exhaust kit that is for the zetec zx3/zx5. I've looked all over the place and came up with nothing. will the flange on the zetec exhaust kit bolt up to the svt flex pipe is my question. any help would be great. visually they both look like the same flange from the pictures I've seen online.

well i i just did my svt header swap and cat plus svt flex to zx3 fswerks flange so non svt and it did NOT line up me and my friend just cut into the flange and made it work

How much modification was needed? thanks though this is exactly the info I needed

i am the "friend" and i did the cutting.
i had to make a slot. prolly about a quarter inch to half an inch long.
then, the piping of the flex and exhaust matched up.
the bolt started in a little crooked, but once it was tightened, you couldn't tell.

with the right tools, it should be relatively easy.
with a dremel and diamond cutting disks... it was a pain in the ass!

definitely haha but end results are awesome so always keep that in mind =)

Thank you guys, what exactly are you referring to as slotting? on the exhaust flange or the flex pipe flange?

the flexpipe flange cause you will learn that the exhaust flange is indeed shorter width wise then flex flange

And slotting as in cutting a slit next to the bolt hole on the flex widening (lengthening) it so it matches up to the bolt hole on the exhaust flange
