Focus ST vs. Vauxhaull Astra VXR

To mee, something seems off... Like he doesn't want to like the ST, so he didn't push it as hard. Or because it was a press car, he didn't drive it as hard. I dunno... But I am not a racing driver, so really, this is just more of a 1/2 a cent.

I agree, he didn't seem to want to like it and he seemed to have an attitude. Plus the car was a left hand drive and the other was a right hand drive. That was maybe a few times he drove a left hand drive around the track? I know I couldn't get into a right hand drive and drive it well. Yet the times were within 2 seconds. Not bad at all to me.

And that threw me off as well. He said he was "disapointed". You can't be disapointed unless you didn't want to like it, and then loved it. Or vise versa.

I know Top Gear tested a white Vauxhaull VXR vs a blue Focus RS. They stated the VXR line is always fast and well made. They mentioned the same limited slip/revoknuckle in the RS is used in the VXR. They liked the RS, but the VXR won their races.

I would like to see a dry run vs wet. I am going to guess that race came down to tires more than the vehicles engine. The VXR might have all season vs the RS having summer rated.
