pulsing engine light
 

Posted via FF MobileI have a 04 lx spi an every so often the engine light comes on an pulses then get very faint an finally goes out.Car seems to run fine. Any idea would be appreciated.

Have you checked to see what code is flashing? If you do not own a OBD2 Scanner, then stop my Auto Zone and get it read for free, when it comes on. If it is flashing, I'm willing to bet you have a misfire. Start with the plugs and wires.

well my brothers has a scanner but i thought the light has to stay on so it can be read an it only stays on for 20 seconds or so

Correct. I didn't know the engine light would never hold steady. Or if it was pulsing constantly. Sounds like you have a sign of a mis-fire. Start with the basics.

ok thanks ill replace the plugs an wires an see if that helps
