Item description: i got a stock head mill at .40 ,p&p with crower spring and retainers.
-obx cam gears (red)
-42lbs injectors
-used probe pistons with eagle rods.

The eagle rods and pistons are on the machine shop getting cleaned and check the clearence on the rods caps , they call me and tell me that everything is fine .

Can you post pictures and some close ups of the rod thats black , close up of where the bearing rides

hmmm... what compression pistons? and will they have new piston rings wrist pins etc?

and i will require a close up of that blackened rod as well. that thing looks like it got really really hot. did you spin a rod bearing on the blackened one? need a good in focus picture of where the bearing sits on the black rod. sorry but i dont trust your machine shop. im likely to be very interested in the pistons either way but may have to pass on the rods. no sense in destroying a several thousand dollar build just to save 400 bucks.

The pictures you sent me had 1 rod VERY black , now they have been glass beaded ?

So did one or 2 of these rods spin a bearing or ?

I am interested in buying these but only if you 100% guarantee the rods are with in spec and that the rod bolts dont need changing due to heat

The rods are with in spec , the machine shop cleaned and verify that. And the pistons too.
