Whats up Bro? Im a Boom on Kc-10s. Its a great Job, You will travel all over the Planet, You willmake some money, you will get have to have a job that gets pretty intense. It really is like a big video game, except that the game involves two aircraft flying less then 50 feet from eachother. Its pretty nuts sometimes. You are so lucky to get this job, I had to cross train out of my old job to get this one. I wish I could have got this job in the first place like you. Feel free to ask any specific questions that you may have.

Congrats... Don't get down from the haters. I've served in both the USAF and the US Army and both have their ups and downs. Like I said, congrats on becoming a boomer. You'll enjoy it. Fly in Style. The people that hate on the Air Force usually are just upset that they didn't make the correct decision the first time around.

The boomers job is not all about just pumping gas. It includes learning the balance of the aircraft not only with fuel but cargo as well, translating into work in the huge air transport industry. That is employment in such companies as UPS, FedEx, and Kalitta Air. Not bad for a gas pumper. I personally have hundreds of hours on tankers to locations all over the world.

Got a c on the depth perception test and need a D dang...probably will be seeing a civ eye doc soon to change that! Or just go for air traffic control or airfield systems

Oh and to all the haters, why comment? I can't Stand when military people bag other military people...what's the point we are all serving

Good for you! The Air Force in and of itself is a great line on any resume. Glad you want to step to the plate in any capacity.
