Which one are you using? If its a wash and gloss/wax you're probably getting streaks from all the shit they put in it. Ive never had any problems with their Gold Class.

You shouldnt be having to much of a problem with soap. What else are you using to wash?

"it doesnt really do much"....please clarify how you're using it. I've had great luck with Gold Class.

Gold Class is what I use.

Adam's Car Wash solution is stellar stuff as well.

Or if you want something OTC...Walmart carries this stuff which is pretty good...

the zymol works well, I use that for my 2 bucket wash

^^ That in itself will help to really get your car clean. A proper 2 bucket system is an easy way to keep dirt from being reapplied.

yes, if you look at the bottom of a rinse bucket it is almost always really dirty.

I personally am probably overkill

rinse->foam gun->rinse->

two bucket wash the wheels with dedicated wheel mitt->rinse->meguiars all wheel cleaner->rinse->

two bucket wash with different buckets and two mitts, one for top half of car and one for bottom half, top down wash method, rinsing after each panel so that the water doesnt dry and leave water spots->

use sheeting method to get as much water off of the car->dry car->drive car into garage->dry water that comes out of the cracks.
