2012 Focus sound system upgrade.

Hey everyone over the next couple weeks I will be doing a complete sound system upgrade in my 2012SE focus. This will consist of first installing a JL-Audio clean sweep and getting speakers wires ran. Amps and speakers will be in the next series of videos. I will be uploading vids of the entire install. I want to send out a BIG thanks to (Yanner) and (Tony407) for answering my questions.

I will post new vid links as I make my way thru the install.

I did miss up the on the second vid with the editing but you all get the point.

Some of the stuff in my vids may be redundant in other post, that others have all ready figured out.

Thanks to all

Good videos...this will come in handy when I upgrade my system. I'm looking to do pretty much the same thing.

I ran 2, 9 conductor speed wires from the center console up under the glove box and along the passenger doors, then remove the rear seat to the trunk back seat or under the rear mat. Much easier this way.

part 4 is up

Thanks for documenting your progress OP. I probably won't be doing that much audio with this car, but I appreciate being able to see all this done in case I change my mind (which can happen a lot).

Just watched part four, and had to laugh a bit when you said 92 degrees was hot. That feels like spring/fall weather at this point around St. Louis haha! I'll actually be up in Michigan in about a week for vacation and hope to enjoy your weather.

looks good so far.

This weekend I installed a Bazooka BTA850FH in my hatch, I ran the wires down the drivers side, and found that on that ide there is a nice little channel under the carpet about 6 inches from the seat belt anchor point, that the wires fit PERFECTLY into going into the hatch. Idk if there is one on the passenger side but take a look, it might work out better than running them by the seat hinge where you have them now.

Also I dont remember what wire i tapped into for the remote turn on, and most likely got the wrong one, but what one did you use or are planning to use?
