Need help!
I'm not sure if this would be the right section, but oh well.
So I had a few rust spots on my Escort that I decided to fix. I grinded it down, bondo'd the deeper rust patches, and then sanded it all so it was smooth from the regular paint areas. I primed it, lightly sanded, pimed, and then hit it with a can of universal black auto paint. It was a more flat color than I thought it would be, but I thought that'd be normal since I still had to hit it with a clear coat. Then the clear coat came, and I accidentally oversprayed a bit, and it looks like crap. There is no shine, and it's a grainy feel. I tried going over it with a claybar, but that hasn't helped.
Can anyone tell me where it might've gone wrong, and how I can repair it?
Many, many thanks to anyone who can help!
