14.5 mpg!!!!!!!
 

So guys I just averaged 14.5mpg from my full tank,170miles out of 11.5 gallons granny shifting too[:(!]... When I first bought the car I was getting 23,,, then I went down to like 19,Then I got my first code, runner control module was stuck open but was still getting like 19 changed the spark plugs and wires then GOT LIKE 18, then a few days later a code for rear o2 sensor .......I was still gtting around 18/19 for a week or so then I got 16 and now 14. Checked the plugs they dont look rich so do you then both those codes would kill my mpg?
My vr4 gets like 22 with both o2 sensors bad and running big turbos smh........

I did a numerous list of things, I was getting similar 16 mpg and I went way up with doing the following:

new plugs
new plug wires
new fuel filter w/ injectors cleaned
new air filter
mass air flow sensor cleaned
new pcv valve
synthetic mobil one oil change w/ filter
synthetic mobile one transmission fluid change w/ filter
