fswerks race exhaust

so i am getting the fswerks exhaust installed thursday. More than likely I will just do a normal install for this exhaust but what do you all think about making the two tips exit in the center? Just curious

That would look too much like the ST, especially with the test mule straight pipe exhaust tip/tips in the center vs the styled exit of the actual ST, at least imo.

stick the the regular setup..it fits perfect and it took almost two hours just to do it that way..trust me

Why didn't Ford make a cut out in the rear valance for the stock exhaust? Seems like a no brainer.

Not sure man. I do wish they had a semi-attractive tip that came on the '12 focus stock. The little 1.5'' or whatever turn down looks ridiculous[mecry]

looks fantastic, sounds fantastic. It is deep, rumbles at idle, but is really loud and does drone on the freeway though. Doesn't really bug me at all. Stock the car had literally zero exhasut note. BTW, installing myself, and let me tell you, there was like zero wiggle room under there. It is a tight fit (without a lift atleast).

I love the color of your car and exhaust looks awesome. I hate waiting for stuff to be shipped. Thanks for the heads up. I am actually having a local shop do it for me. I know how to do it, just don't have the resources to do so

the hardest part was cutting off the stock system (without a saws all) since it was installed under the suspension, and then balancing the muffler on my face while laying under the car, since that bolts on directly to the flex pipe. Like I said in last post, it is tight getting the second (longest piece of the system) in the groove and attached to the exhasut tip. It would had been impossible without ratcheting wrenches. But in all seriousness, the guys over at FS Werks are great, it is a great quality system and it's worth every penny.

I have heard sounds clips and videos, etc. But hearing it in person, I haven't been able to do. From your experience do you think it sounds ricer-ish, or does it have a respectable tone. In all gears?
