Removing pine sap?
 

Can anyone recommend a good cleaner to use to remove pine sap from the roof of a car?

I was able to get the heavier stuff off the windshield with the use of a scraper, and then used goo-gone (or maybe it's called goof off) for the lighter stuff that was left behind.

peanut butter works great and washing sap off your hands. never seen it used on a car but could work. just dont use one with chunks in it.

WD-40 works great.

Flip a compressed air can upside down
Spray
Chip off
No mess.

Thanks for the replies guys. I got it all off. I let a few drops of Goo Gone soak for about 10-15 min then used a plastic spackling thing.

How much paint did you take with it?

None. I put 3-4 paper towels under the plastic putty thing

so you used a piece of hard plastic covered in towels made from wood fibers.

Yea.. im sure the paint is scratched to hell there....
