2007 Focus Wagon, It's about time everything broke at once
 

Ok so it seems like everything on my Focus failed within a week.

Power steering went out. (is there a DIY replacement somewhere?)

Air bag light came on, I think it has to do with the sensor in the passenger seat because the Passenger Air Bag OFF light stopped coming on.

OD OFF light started flashing yellow when I hit 55mph but I can still feel it shift into OD

I think my plugs are finally worn out because it started missing a little.

CEL came on for the O2 sensor and Cat.

It's about damn time something broke on this car.

ONLY 329,520 MI.? Can't believe you would have all those problems! Don't build to last any more do they? [histerical][race]
I sure hope my car does better than that!

Since my first post I've put the new plugs in it, [:)][:)][:)][:)]ers were in there, on cylinder three I thought for sure the plug was going to crack.

took it for a drive around the block with the new plugs, and the air bag light isn't on anymore ?????

Mine fell apart well before that, but it was owned by a punk before me. I think I have more in the car now than it cost new.

well, the air bag light came back on, power steering pump got replaced today.

only thing still broke is the O2 sensor and air bag light :/

Glad to see a Focus with so many miles :) Sorry to hear stuff finally broke though. lol

And here I am all worried about 73,000 on my '09! I think I will get to 300K next year with my 75 mile daily commute, jk ;-)

TRAGIC UPDATE:
I took it to a shop to let them install the power steering pump and oil change, i swaped a trans in my buddies civic over the weekend and didnt want to be bothered.

THEY FORGOT TO PUT OIL BACK IN IT. The engine siezed before I got out of their parking lot.


Now the good news, i found an engine and trans for $850 with 23k miles on it at a local junkyard, they are buying it and installing it for free. They decided to get the trans in exchange for me not disclosing the name of the shop.

I couldn't be happier.

hell's bells, they shoulda bought you a brand new motor, the cheapskates!!! LOL here's to another 329K!! hope you can get the other niggling issues taken care of so you'll think you're car is new all over again. peace, john
