Replacing bulbs in side mirrors
 

Does anyone have any idea how to replace the bulbs (both the turn signals and puddle lamps) that are in the side mirrors? I'm hoping to replace the signals with chrome-colored amber bulbs and maybe some brighter leds for the puddle lamps. Unfortunately, there's no mention of replacing them in the owner's manual. I don't see any screws or other obvious disassembly points anywhere on the mirror housings, and would prefer not to pry at random parts. Any knowledge on what the bulb types are would also be greatly appreciated.

Puddle lamp install is very simple. Please post if you find out how to replace the mirror turn signals

You're going to have to remove the mirror cover and then the lens cover to get at the turn signal bulbs.

Is all the wiring in the mirror to add the side lights and puddle lamp later?

My wife broke one mirror so I learned how - sort of. First, you will have to carefully remove the painted cover. You may have to carefully pull the mirror glass away from the mirror assembly. Make sure you turn the glass inward first so you can see. Anyway, you should now be able to see the turn signal and puddle bulbs. Have at it. Like I said, hers was broken so I was able to see the bulbs. As I recall, there were new bulbs with the new mirror assembly.
