adding heated mirrors
 

has anyone added heated outside mirrors to a car that didnt come with them from factory. is it a plug and play or do you have to add a relay or fuse or wiring. i just got an 2011 with out them for my daughter and i want to put them in.

you have to add power windows and locks I believe...it's part of the power package...

it has power windows and locks, its a SE. my 08 ses had the heated mirrors and i have a spare rh heated mirror from a 09 and was hoping to pick up a lh and put them on my daughters car for safety and not having to scrape or wipe her mirrors.

oh ok so then yes it's plug and play the connectors should be in there already :)

So MRford60 did you end up adding heated mirrors? If so, how much did they cost and was it plug n play?

sorry i havent had time to do it yet. i have a passenger mirror and need to locate a drivers mirror yet. i'll report if and when i can finish it.

Hey if you decide not to go through with the upgrade I would be willing to buy your RH mirror if you want to sell it. Just throwin it out there.

EDIT: Alright so I just purchased my Driver Side mirror and now have both so I will be plugging them in Thursday to see if they work and I will let you know how it goes.

Just got the mirror bolted on and wired up and it was all plug and play.
