Black River Stages Rally 2011 - Harrisville NY - Sept 23-24

Black River Stages rally is setting up to be an awesome event for Ford Focuses this year. The entry list is currently showing nearly 40 rally cars with 7 of them a Ford Focus!

The very best way to get up close and personal with the action is to volunteer - go here to sign up - the event is always looking for people to help out and you get to attend the amazing parties too!

We'll be there in the freshly rebuilt USUK Racing Ford Focus...

Very nice. I was wondering when that event was and this was the last place I expected to find out. I really have to attend given that I live so close and am sure that I have driven on some of the roads.

I'll be there Simon, unfortunately only as a spectator.

The event needs volunteers - way better than spectating. If you're time-constrained just put that in when you sign up and they'll accommodate you.

Does anyone know where I can find a route map for this event? I tried on there website but I don't have google earth on my computer.

A lot of event organizers do not release the route to the public anymore. This is done to limit the public to approved designated spectating areas only. This is done to appease the lawyers and insurance companies and keep stage rally alive and healthy. As mentioned, volunteering can get you much closer to the action.

Google Earth is free you know. [:)]

However I think the spectator guide will provide all the information needed. They should be available in Croghan, Harrisville, and Natural Bridge.

^^ I know. But my computer is slow enough without downloading anything else on it. [wiggle]

Thanks, I'll have to run somewhere and try to get a guide.
