Rally Racers?

Does anyone here do any rally racing or autocrossing, particularly on the east coast?

I know Egz does a lot of autocrossing.

Garyk does a lot of racing.

I live in central wv, and know very little, just want to try to get my feet wet. Just want to maybe do a couple of races a year and don't want to have a dedicated track car. I just wanna go out and have some fun...

nasa etal

nasa runs a decent hpde at summit point about 4 times a year-its not racing-you would need a log booked, rollcaged race prepped car for that. it combines classroom instruction with about 2 1/2 hours on track with an instructor (yes i am one of those loons who does it-sitting in the passenger seat at 120 mph). go to www.nasaracing.net for a look see.

Wow $300 for a 20-30 min ride with an instructor... ouch. I would love the chance to learn but that doesn't seem like much "bang" for your buck.

Check NASA for some high speed touring. Here at Hallett outside of Tulsa it runs about $95 for 5 - 15 minute sessions. I've heard NASA is a little higher but not much.

No, you get six 20-30 minute sessions over 2 days.

Its a really good experience, and you get a lot of track time.

yeah that sounds much better...
