svt focus.... New pads And maybe discs
 

Hey I was looking at Roush for new pads, cuz my rear brakes are going bad. They got em on overstock for 20. yay or nay? Also I wanted to look into better discs but ST says must be the same size or I am getting booted to STX. Would the Roush ones be good?

there are a lot of choices for good brakes out there, im my opinion as long as you have some kind of hawks such as the HP PLUS or the HPS pads your brakes will be good.

as for discs i don't know much about the roush stuff. i would guess there good. but there are other good ones out there too.

honestly bro, centric blanks or even brembo blanks would be fine. like he said ^^ get hawks and they will bite anything.

How do Hawk compare to the Carbotech and EBC

someone correct me if i'm wrong, but carbotechs are superior to most.

from personal experience i would say Hawk pwns EBC.

EBC's are fine. but definitely not as good as Hawk.

if ur changing the pads, atleast get the rotors cut so the new pads wear to the rotor propely or buy new rotors

new pads will wear to the rotors just fine if OP goes easy on it for a hundred or so miles... Getting discs turned is a waste of time and money.. Especially rear discs. The fronts do 90% of the braking.
