Race seat for daily driver ?
 

Has anyone installed an aftermarket seat that is also comfortable for longer rides ? and reclines AND folds forwards ?

Ive got momo racing seats that mount on the stock rack that reclines folds forwards and slides and its pretty comfortable and ive got a bad back.

I'm running Sparco's in mine. Slide, recline, and forward fold for rear entry. Have driven to Tennessee (and then down to Georgia while in TN) and to Carlisle with them no problem.

I ran some crappy ebay racing seats that were comfy till they broke. I have some custom made seat brackets that will let you use almost any seat if your interested.

i got corbeau A1's in my car and i DD my car for over 2 years with it like that. no problems. even drove from TX to AR. for FF09.

Which seats are they? part number?? What did you do about the airbag?

The Corbeau is an A4, Momo came with Saleen model, and Sparco was bought online, model unknown. Sparco sent pic, nice. Thanks to all.

Here's another question. If you change the seats and add a harness, what do you do about the seat belt chime?

^reuse your old seat belts, or leave them plugged in and tucked under the seat. I reused them with my seats.

i have a racing harness in mine i only use them at shows or races. i use my stock belts when im not racing cause they are uncomfortable.
