Heads up: rubbing with 225/50-15 on 05-07 struts

Just test-fitted my recent purchase of a set of 15" Focus rims with 225/50-15 BFG G-force drag radials.
They rub the struts on my FRPP suspension, and so will most likely rub on the stock struts too.
It takes a 1/16" spacer to give just enough room to not rub.

I will add that it rubs with 18psi and lower. I did not bother testing a higher pressure since these are drag radials.

What size rim are you using. I just got the same size mounted on my rims, but didnt think to check, how ever my rims are 15x7 with a 35 offset

It's an earlier model Focus rim. 6" or 6.5" probably so it's a stretch to fit.
I can check the BS later today.

I had the exact same rims and tires on 00-04 struts and lowering springs and i could air them down to 10psi no problem

Right, I recalled that you had. That's why I made this post for us 05-07 owners and our odd-ball suspensions.

Not sure the backspacing. It wasn't stamped on the wheel. It's a 15x6 factory Focus wheel though.
