When Did you change your timing belt
 
Please vote when you did this.

If you haven't please post your current milage and when you plan to do this.
When can have a good informative thread fro us all if enough participate.

so i'm at 86,000 and will do it sometime before 100K

If you are not already planning on it, I suggest replacing idler/tensioner pulleys and water pump while you're in there. Parts are pretty cheap it's worth doing just to not have to go back in there.

[thumb] That's exactly what I did and it was at around 80k miles.

Just bought the parts this week; doing it tomorrow. Just crossed 91,000 miles.

EDIT: The old belt still looked really good; no cracks or obvious wear.

Just got mine changed yesterday at 105k, it cost me $351 at the local Ford dealer
