March 1st Autocross - Stroud, OK
 

This Sunday marks the first event of the NEOKLA SCCA 2009 Autocross season. The first event is being held in Stroud, OK at the old Tanger Outlet Mall parking lot RIGHT of I-44 halfway between OKC and Tulsa.

Event registration and tech opens at 8:00am and closes at 9:30am sharp.
Pre-registration at our registration site is encouraged.
Driver's meeting is at 9:45am
Course walk thru ends promptly at 9:45am
First car out on course at 10:00am

Awesome ... are you going to take pics of the your autoX and others out there?

Some of us have started AutoX here in the south texas side and we are going to try and get a few of us out there. Focus representing in AutoX.

There is almost always a dedicated photographer at each event to take pictures of cars on course.

How did you do in your class and the overall day against your other competitors?

Came in thrid in class. My Azenis are 2 years old and shot with little grip left from all the heat cycling. New tires coming soon I hope.

That's right I read "else where" that you were thinking about getting some of the New Kumhos. Hope they come in and you can roll those on the course.

When is your next event?

2 day event at the end of March. Not sure if new tires will be here in time since my bonus check comes in on the 20th and the event is on the 28th-29th.

We have TODAY (March 8th) then we wait til May ... boo ...

So April is a Car show month no race.

Sounds good man ... let me know how your new tires will feel. I am thinking about getting new Tires sometime this summer.
