Thanks, Mark. Man, I'm getting slack in my old age! [slap]

BTW, I'm gonna call Sagebrush tonight and I'll let you know what they say.

To all other Fanatics:

If you're planning on going, post up here and let me know. I'll add you to the list so we can have a decent head count. This will help me out when I call the restaurant to reserve the banquet room. [thumb]

Hahaha....It's fine man, I figured you older people need your naps and such [;)]
I'm hoping that Sagebrush has a meeting room since not all of them do.

Come on guys, let's make this a good turnout!! There are members driving from the Raleigh area and that's a little over 100 miles one way. My goal is to see a NC/SC meet with 15+ Foci. So let's do it!!

Mark, I posted up on FJ, but I'll say it here as well...

I checked and the Sagebrush in Albemarle doesn't have a meeting room. We could still try it, but it might be a little dicey trying to get the tables together. I checked online to see what other places to eat in Albemarle might be able to accommodate us. There were two options that looked like they might work to me. There is a Ryan's right next door to the Sagebrush. It has a large parking lot, and being a buffet-style restaurant, it should be easier for us to have them put together some tables. The second one that I noticed was a Ci-Ci's pizza. It looks to be in a strip mall with a large parking lot, so that would help in that regard. We could probably put some tables together there as well, but there might be a larger crowd there than at Ryan's. I'm just guessing on that one.

Do any of those other options sound interesting to you? I also failed to mention that I looked at the menu at Sagebrush and it's a little high for me. I could do it, but money's a little tight right now. Personally, I'd be up for Ryan's, but it's up to the group. Let me know what you all think.

I'M A DO IT THIS TIME!!! AND IF I DON'T SHOW UP SOMEONE NEEDS TO FRIGGIN KILL ME!!!

Haha. Man, school is a brain fry-er. I've just had so much on my plate lately I haven't had time to do anything, but the new semester has started and my exams are over... so I'm coming to this one. It's only about 50 miles from Dirty Mo and I think I can do the trip in about an hour if I try... hahaha.

But for real. I'm a goin this time, for sure.

So that means that someone needs to MAIL ME LIKE 4387958273 TIMES THE DAY BEFORE!!! haha.

See ya guys there. I'll keep up with the forum to see of any changes.

PEACE>< Daniel.

Oh yes, and my car will be an 03 pitch black se sedan.

tangerine dream 02-02-2009 09:08 PM

Cool man, look forward to seeing you there.

Oh, and I'll make sure and PM you eleventy-billion times the day before just to make sure. [thumb]

oi! count me in as well. as far as the costs of these chokeNpukes cici's will be the cheapest. about $7 a head for buffet pizza/pasta/salad/dessert. ryans will be around $11-$12. but they have everything. steak, kelbasa sausage, turkey, a million kinda o shrimp, pasta, tacos, nachos, burgers, pizza, and losts more dessert selection. and its a buffet too. i vote no on sagebrush tho. havent eaten there in 5 years cause the last time i did i nearly died from food poisoning. ok im being a little dramatic. it only made me want to die.

focusmaniaczx3 02-03-2009 08:39 AM

arg dammit i didnt realize how far it was gonna be until i mapquested it and actually looked at the map. its gonna be a nearly 300 mile round trip. any halfway points we're gonna meet at? eh charlotte peeps gonna probably take either 49 (shorter) or 85 (faster). if yall take 85 we could meet up around salisbury for some breakfast. if ya take 49 screw it ill see ya at the park lol. and have we settled on an exact time of day yet? please make it like 2pm or sometime a little later in the afternoon. i gotta get my sleep in!

tangerine dream 02-03-2009 09:11 AM

Actually Chase, there's no reason to take either 49 or 85 if you're coming from Charlotte. The fastest (and most direct) way from Charlotte is to take 24/27 east straight into Albemarle. For those coming from Charlotte and points west, we could meet up at 485 & Albemarle road (which is 24/27) and caravan over from there.

As far as the time, it looks like we're leaning towards a morning meet-up (between 10:00 and 11:00). It'll be up to majority decision as to when we go on the cruise and grab a bite to eat. If you can't make it in the morning, but still want to be there, I can give you a call when we start the cruise and you can meet up with us at the restaurant. PM me and we'll exchange numbers.

focusmaniaczx3 02-04-2009 07:44 AM

oh ok i see that route now! gah mapquest is retarded. no worries about it being a morning meet. i just dont like being up at that time of day unless im still awake from the night before. (im used to night shift) however i will have a full week to get adjusted to sleeping during the night and being awake during the day like normal people before the meet. so i should be good.
