Wire Tuck

Just thought I would post up my engine cleanup. I did it once already but I didn't like the way it turned out. It was kind of a pay but in the end it was worth it. Just takes alot of patience and a good back and legs.

So this was the start:

Then I tried this and didn't like it:

And the final outcome would be this:

Tell me what you think.

Looks good. [^]

Love our engines, but I hate the look of that unkempt vines. Stupid wires.

Yea, I couldn't stand the spider web of wires. Had to do something. And for the cost of two roles of electrical tape, it was well worth it.

did you extend the wires?

the_07ninja 10-14-2008 06:20 PM

that doesn't look like an actual tuck just a tape job...

Looks a ton better than the spider webs

Yea I was worried as well. That was the first try(the blue tape). But then I said screw it and went for it. Just cut one wire at a time. I scared myself once cause I had a bunch of cut wires laying around. But I figured it out thankfully.
