H&R Race Springs for Autocross?

Just looking for some feedback from anyone who has run these springs for autocross. I'm not concerned about ride quality as the Focus is no longer a daily driver and is only going to be used for autocross/track events.

Thanks,
Ed

ASide from a horrifying index in either prepared or modified...

[burnout]

All reports are theat they are a bit stiff. In AX you actually want a little give as things are so tight (course wise). With a really aggressive suspension, often the car gets there before you do - so to speak.

However, if this will be a combination AX AND track vehicle, then I would go for it.

Does H&R make OE springs - they used to for integra which were stock height! Too bad the focus doesnt have them :(

STS is the intended class.

WeeAsp...I agree with what your saying and have usually gone with less spring rate for that reason. However, the top Civic guys are running over 400 - 500lbs springs in 2,200lbs Civic's.

Two of the top three 2007 National STS drivers are in Milwaukee and that's who I'll be running against. I don't expect to beat them with the Focus, but I would like to put up a good fight.

I believe he's referring to the Race springs. If H&R make OE replacement or stock ride height springs for the Focus, I'm unaware of them.
